HCR ManorCare supports those wishing to advance in the field of health care administration. As an AIT, you will have the opportunity to practice leadership skills under the guidance of a seasoned leader in a skilled nursing, hospice or home care setting. Our AIT program is an on-the-job mentored training process designed to help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to become an effective administrator. The positions are full-time, salaried positions with benefits. AIT positions are available in our skilled nursing centers and our home care and hospice divisions.  The AIT program for skilled nursing centers is 12 - 18 months in length, and the program for home care and hospice is 18 months in length.
 
Candidates must posses a bachelor's degree in health care management, business or related health care field. It is preferred that the candidate have two years supervisory experience in a business setting and at least one year experience in a long-term care facility or home care or hospice agency as applicable.
