The Volunteer Grant Program was created to support HCR ManorCare employees who make a difference in their communities by contributing their time and talents to local non-profit organizations.  Through this program, employees who volunteer may apply for cash grants of $500 from the Foundation to support the non-profit organizations they assist.  Funded and administered by the HCR ManorCare Foundation, the Volunteer Grant Program was designed to encourage and recognize active community participation in all HCR ManorCare employees. 

Since its inception in 2002, this popular program has helped spread the spirit of service that defines the HCR ManorCare family to communities and worthy causes throughout the nation.  To be eligible for a grant, an applicant must be a full- or part-time HCR ManorCare employee with at least one year of continuous company service.
