Wishes on Ice

You’re never too old to be a princess.  At least that’s what the staff at Linden Village in Lebanon, Pennsylvania believes.  Mildred, a resident of Linden Village, was a princess for a day as her wish came true when she attended a live ice skating show surrounded by princesses -– Disney on Ice presents Princess Wishes –- at the Hershey’s Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. 

Mildred revealed that she had always wanted to see an ice-skating show in person.  Michele, Program Services Coordinator at Linden Village, made sure that Mildred’s wish came true by making preparations for the evening.  The tickets were provided by Hershey and Disney, and a ride to the event was graciously donated by another resident’s family member who accompanied Mildred to the show.  After finding their seats, the group was led by staff to take photos of the gowns and princesses, and Mildred was introduced to one of the skaters.

Mildred and the rest of attendees had a wonderful time at the show.  They all enjoyed the fabulous seats and delightful costumes.  Mildred was very thankful to Linden Village staff and the community for helping to make her wishes on ice come true.
